Language Learning Resources
I often hear humans complain that they want to learn a new language but never could they find the time to do so. Unlike Dogs, humans seem to speak so many different languages on planet Earth, it's no wonder so many of them try to broaden their language spectrum. Even in my own household, both mom and dad are multilingual, and they try pretty hard to teach my siblings some of the languages they speak, too. That being said, if a person does not have the right environment, it can be challenging to engage and actually learn a foreign language. I find it is best to simply jump right into a conversation instead of start with the equivalent of “A, B, C”. A person can really pick up the speed once she/he overcomes the fear of learning a new language.
With over 70 languages, this is a language learning website recommended by several public library systems around the country. If you have a local library membership card, you can access its contents using that. It might ask for you to sign up at first, but you can choose to try it out as a guest first.
Okay,so I have already shared this site in my “kids-centered online learning resources”blog, but there are things that grownups can definitely take advantage here as well. If you have been considering to learn another language but didn’t have the time or free resources to do so, now it’s your chance! My mom has been trying to teach my siblings some Japanese, and I am so excited to see that there are many kids’ books on Amazon’s free Audible site right now. If you start with children’s’ books, eventually you can understand more than going the traditional“start with the basic grammar” approach. Give it a try!
